Terms of Use

Effective date: 2026-10-01 · Version: tou-r3-2026-10-01

These Terms govern your use of Gilbert Landscape Match (gilbertlandscapematch.com), operated by Gilbert Landscape Match, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA. Please read section 11: it requires individual arbitration of most disputes and waives class actions, unless you opt out within 30 days. You accept these Terms when you tick the box on our request form that says you agree to them, or when you otherwise use the service.

1. What Gilbert Landscape Match is — and is not

Gilbert Landscape Match is a free matching service. We collect details of your landscaping job and introduce you to one independent local pro who pays us a fee for the introduction. We are not a contractor. We do not perform, bid, quote, contract for, supervise, guarantee or take payment for any work. Gilbert Landscape Match is not a licensed contractor and does not perform, bid on or manage construction work. We refer you to independent contractors licensed by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, who contract with you directly. Gilbert Landscape Match is not a licensed contractor. It does not perform, bid on, supervise or manage any work; the licensed contractor (ROC # shown) contracts with you directly. Gilbert Landscape Match is not a licensed contractor; it does not perform, bid on, supervise or manage construction work.

2. The pro is independent

The pro is an independent business, not our employee, agent or partner. Any quote, contract, warranty, permit, payment or dispute about the work is between you and the pro. You are never obliged to hire the pro we introduce. Before hiring, check the pro's license or registration where required (No state license is required for landscaping work in Arizona; ask the pro for proof of insurance and business registration), get a written contract, and read it.

3. What we check, and what we don't

Our checks are described at gilbertlandscapematch.com/how-we-match/. They are limited, point-in-time checks. We do not guarantee that a pro will contact you, be available, give a particular price, do good work, finish on time, or remain licensed or insured after we checked. We do not rate, rank or review pros.

4. Cost ranges and guides

Price ranges, estimators and guides on this site are general information from public sources, with sources and dates shown. They are not quotes, offers or professional advice (including legal, engineering, permitting, electrical or safety advice). Real prices depend on your home and the pro. Confirm permit and code questions with your local building department.

5. Calls, texts, recording and automated tools

Calls to and from our numbers are recorded and may be transcribed and analyzed, including by automated systems and our service providers. Calls may be answered by an automated AI assistant, which will tell you it is automated. You may use the form instead of calling. You consent to receive notices and records about your request electronically (for example on this site, by text if you agreed, or by email). You can ask for a paper copy of any consent record at hello@gilbertlandscapematch.com, free of charge, and you may withdraw consent to electronic records at any time. Text messages are governed by our SMS Terms (gilbertlandscapematch.com/sms-terms/).

6. Your responsibilities

You must be 18 or older and the owner or authorized occupant/manager of the property, or acting for them. Give accurate information, and only a phone number that is yours or that you are authorized to use. Do not submit requests for someone else without their permission, test or spam the service, scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful.

7. Our content

Site content is owned by Gilbert Landscape Match or its licensors. You may view and print it for personal use. Copyright complaints: see section 13.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we disclaim responsibility for the acts, omissions, work, products, prices and representations of any pro.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a pro's work, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to $100. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

10. Indemnity

If you knowingly submit false information or someone else's number, you are responsible for claims and costs that result.

11. Disputes — individual arbitration and class-action waiver

Informal first. Before filing a claim, send a written notice to hello@gilbertlandscapematch.com and 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA describing it; we will try to resolve it within 60 days.

Arbitration. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be decided by individual binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. We will pay the AAA filing, administration and arbitrator fees for any claim you bring that is within the Consumer Rules, unless the arbitrator finds your claim frivolous. If 25 or more similar demands are filed by or with the help of the same law firm or organization, they will be administered in batches under the AAA's mass-arbitration procedures.

Class-action waiver. You and we may bring claims only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding. Nothing here waives your right to seek public injunctive relief where that right cannot be waived by law; such a claim will be severed and stayed pending arbitration of individual claims.

Opt out. You can opt out of this section within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing hello@gilbertlandscapematch.com with your name, the phone number you used and the words "arbitration opt-out".

If this section is unenforceable as to a claim, that claim will be heard only in the state or federal courts in Wyoming, and both parties waive trial by jury to the extent the law allows.

Your right to review

Nothing in these Terms limits your right to post an honest review of us or of any pro, anywhere, including a negative one (Consumer Review Fairness Act, 15 U.S.C. 45b). We will never ask you, as a condition of using this site, to give up that right, to pay a fee for a review, or to assign us the copyright in a review.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and the laws of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that consumer-protection laws of your home state apply where they cannot be waived.

13. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

Send notices of claimed infringement to hello@gilbertlandscapematch.com (subject line: Copyright notice).

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. Changes do not apply to disputes already notified. Contact: Gilbert Landscape Match, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA · hello@gilbertlandscapematch.com.
